    研究領域 Research Interests 目前研究的方向包括:
    (一)魚類及蝦類病毒及相關免疫基因功能研究
    病毒感染一直是魚蝦養殖產業的重要課題,例如蝦類白點症病毒及感染魚類的神經壞死病毒,藉由研究病毒的結構蛋白基因及宿主的免疫基因組成,瞭解基因功能及作用機制,可以幫助我們找出方法對抗病毒性疾病。
     
    (二)應用新穎核酸檢測技術開發可現場快速篩檢病原的方法
    為了對抗病原感染及減少用藥等食安問題,建議養殖漁民放養篩檢過不帶病原的魚蝦種苗,但是靈敏的篩檢方法往往需要繁複的操作,設備及成本,因此影響健康種苗的推廣。本實驗室應用新穎的核酸分子檢測技術,開發可在戶外養殖現場操作的快速篩檢方法。
     
    (三)珊瑚人工養殖、螢光基因選殖及功能研究
    分離自維多利亞管水母的綠色螢光蛋白其研究及應用獲得2008年的諾貝爾化學獎,本實驗室以人工養殖的多種珊瑚為材料,選殖出不同顏色的螢光蛋白基因,嘗試瞭解來自珊瑚的眾多螢光蛋白其生物功能或角色分別為何?
