    Research Interests
    (一)蛋白質工程:
    本研究室利用定點突變、DNA shuffling以及domain swapping技術,成功找出提升PHA synthase比活性與熱穩定性關鍵胺基酸之位置。此蛋白質工程變異株應用於大腸桿菌系統,明顯提升生物可分解塑膠的產率,未來研究將以改變PHA synthase基質專一性為主要目標。
    (二)微生物代謝工程:
    本研究室已建立微生物基因剔除與置換技術,利用本技術將蛋白質工程獲得之PHA synthase置換野生菌株基因。另一方面,基因剔除技術用於改變微生物生化代謝路徑以獲得稀有性PHA生產菌株。
     
    (三)高細胞密度醱酵技術:
    利用降溫或供給純氧方式,本研究室已成功建立高細胞密度醱酵技術生產生物可分解塑膠,未來將以此技術平台配合代謝工程菌株量產稀有性生物可分解塑膠。
